About Dr. Hill
Dr. Hill is a board-certified ophthalmologist in practice since 1992. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons and the St. Louis Ophthalmological Society. Dr. Hill completed both his medical degree and ophthalmology residency at St. Louis University.
Dr. Hill was also an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology and the Director of Comprehensive Ophthalmology Services at St. Louis University Eye Institute. Prior to that, Dr. Hill served in the United States Air Force for four years, attaining the rank of Major and Chief of Ophthalmology at Scott Air Force Base.
Dr. Hill is committed to service, as exemplified by his examination of patients and surgeries performed on those in need both at home and abroad. These services are provided free of charge through the American Academy’s Eyecare America Program and the SSM hospital system’s indigent service. In addition, Dr. Hill has been involved in mission work and cataract surgery in Guatemala, Peru, and Ecuador through Surgical Eye Expeditions International.
